The ecolabel is an award for hotels, which do their best to protect nature and enviroment.
In these hotels you can relax and enjoy your holidays. But you can also be sure that these hotels guarantee ecological awareness.

The ecolabel was brought in to reward companies for their contribution to enviroment protection. The label is given to products, hotels and institutions of education.  It gives information about the contamination of products with environmental pollutants and about their fabrication, handling and disposal.
The label should motivate hotels and guests to contribute to enviroment protection. Furthermore it should show the customer eco-friendly alternatives.

Family Maier and their team work diligently on the ecologically-oriented design of the hotel. It is very important for us that we use mostly organic food for the breakfast buffet. Furthermore we care for regional and seasonal origin. So the guest benefts from delicious fresh products and the domestic economy is boosted.

But it is also important to motivate our guests to make their contribution to enviroment protection. For this reason our guests can use our bicycle to do their city trip.
Futhermore it is important to mention, that our hotel can be reached very easily by public transport.
We also cooperate with other companies, that had been rewarded with the envirmoment-label, such as the companies OberösterreichTouristik and Austria Radreisen. They offer eco-friendly bicycle tours.

It is very important for us to meet the conditions for the Austrian ecolabel. We want to contribute to nature and enviroment protection and we want to motivate other people to make their contribution.
