Our grandparents bought the house in 1949 and in the following years it was used as a typical Austrian inn.

After the handover to my parents in 1974 the former “Stiegl Public House” was continued as such.

Since 1994 my wife and I have been working here. From September 1998 to July 199 the hotel was closed because we had to do a lot of renovation work.

On the 15th of July 1999 we reopened our new “Hotel zur Post”. After that, in spring 2002, we also renovated the neighboring house “Georg”.
